S.P.Senarath Jayaweera is a member of a small group under the Gemidiriya Project. Prior to his membership in the small group his income was insufficient to feed his family. He has achieved substantial progress both economically and socially after joining Gemidiriya. He presented his bamboo productions at the Rural Livelihood Expo 2005 Trade Fair & Exhibition held in India. He gained a sound knowledge on the market, demand , prices and quality of products, use of information technology and the vision of the livelihood improvement project. |
